COVID-19 Executive Order
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Governor Gretchen Whitmer issued an Executive Order requiring the closure of businesses that do not support “critical infrastructure”. In this Executive order, critical infrastructure workers are considered those “described by the Director of the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency in his guidance of March 19, 2020 on the COVID-19 response”. This documents states that Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers include “workers such as plumbers, electricians, exterminators, and other service providers who provide services that are necessary to maintain the safety, sanitation, and essential operation of residences”.
In accordance with the Executive Order, we are deemed critical infrastructure, and therefore will remain open. We are adopting all mitigation measures to protect workers and patrons, including operating with the minimal staff necessary to service the needs of our customers. Currently, we encourage customers to contact us remotely in lieu of coming to our office.
